WHIPPANY, N.J., April 24, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Bayer HealthCare was honored by national non-profit CancerCare at their 70th Anniversary Celebration Gala in New York City on April 23. The gala honors individuals, companies and foundations that have made substantial contributions to improving the lives of people affected by cancer through their partnerships with CancerCare during the past 70 years. Bayer has a long-standing commitment to CancerCare's mission of providing free support services to individuals affected by a cancer diagnosis. "Our partnership with Bayer continues as we announce the launch of the 'Pillow Talk Care Package' and 'Comfort Pillow' that will showcase the importance of psychosocial support in the care and treatment of cancer for patients, families and caregivers, and highlight the value of talking about a cancer diagnosis," said Brian Tomlinson, Chief Program and Communications Officer, CancerCare.
"At Bayer, the fight against cancer never stops," said Philip Blake, president, Bayer Corporation.
