LONDON, August 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --
Global aviation services company BBA Aviation concedes markets have been softer than anticipated but believe there is good momentum for the second half of the year and beyond.
In a video interview, CEO Simon Pryce said there has been a very strong performance from their aftermarket businesses, and while a lack of de-icing has affected profitability, there has been promising underlying improvement in operational performance.
The BBA Aviation boss also notes the company continues to outperform their markets.
"There are a lot of good positive indicators for excellent medium and long-term growth in our markets. And we are waiting for business confidence to reflect that, because that's when you'll see big growth."
