BC Partners Credit Announces Initial Investment in LIV Golf, Marking the Next Step Toward a Financially Strong, Team-Focused Golf League

NEW YORK, Oct. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- BC Partners Credit, the credit arm of BC Partners, today announced an initial committed investment in LIV Golf by funds advised on its platform. This investment is the first part of a targeted $300 million in cumulative financing to help LIV Golf emerge from its restructuring as a fiscally strong, sustainable, team-focused golf league that complements the existing professional tours and contributes to the long-term potential of the sport. The next phase of LIV Golf, or LIV Golf 2.0, will feature players participating as equity owners of both the League and the teams—providing players with a direct stake in the League's success.
