BDEX, LLC Raises $1.7M in Financing, Appoints Two New Advisors
SEATTLE, Sept. 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- BDEX, LLC, formerly Big Data Exchange, the marketplace for data, has raised $1.7 million in Angel seed financing as of June 1, 2015. The organization has also appointed two new advisors to its management team, Craig Fleischman and Michael Nassirian. Fleischman and Nassirian collectively offer five decades experience in technology product management, engineering and customer satisfaction, which will guide this award-winning big data startup to future success.
Craig Fleischman is an accomplished technology leader and engineer with more than 25 years of experience developing innovative products. Fleischman's background includes vast experience in product management, operations, engineering, customer satisfaction and quality. Prior to his role on BDEX's advisory team, Fleischman served as an executive leader at Microsoft holding product and technology positions that included: Microsoft Office, Enterprise Hardware & Products, Microsoft Windows, Mobile Device Management solutions, and Public Cloud services.
Michael Nassirian is a Partner-level Devices and Networking Test Manager with almost 19 years experience at Microsoft. His extensive background in test engineering, international compatibility and compliance expertise have made him a valuable asset to Microsoft. Prior to Nassirian's role at Microsoft, he applied his engineering background in a Test Manager capacity at Texas Instruments. His extensive expertise on international distribution, product quality assurance and compliance will be an invaluable asset to BDEX.
