NEW YORK, Dec. 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- It is announced today that Beaute Prestige International USA, the US division of the Paris-based luxury fragrance company and a division of Shiseido Americas Corporation, has entered into an exclusive, multi-year agreement for the sales, marketing and distribution of Ferragamo Parfums S.p.A. fragrances within the United States. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Ferragamo Parfums has been distributed in the USA since 2001. The company currently develops and distributes 20 individual scents for men and women. The brand is currently carried in several department and specialty stores in the US, including Bloomingdale's, Lord & Taylor, Macy's, Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom.

The new distribution agreement will be effective as of April 1, 2013.
Ferragamo Parfums S.p.A., was created in 1997 to directly manage the development and distribution of the perfumes for the brand. Since 2001 it is 100% owned by the Salvatore Ferragamo Group and has direct management of all processes, from product development to final market placement for fragrances and bath lines of the brand.
Beaute Prestige International was created in 1992 to augment Shiseido's fragrance business with the development of new designer fragrance brands. Beginning with the signing of Japanese designer Issey Miyake, the company has slowly and steadily built its brand portfolio to include French designer Jean Paul Gaultier, American designer Narciso Rodriguez and famed Lebanese couturier Elie Saab. In 2009, BPI USA was selected to administer the sales and distribution of the Hermes fragrances and in 2010 assumed US sales and distribution responsibility for Annick Goutal Parfums. Today, Beaute Prestige International's fragrance brands can be found in fine department and specialty stores nationwide.
