Beauty Cause Marketing Campaign Combats Sex Slavery Through Social Media #Hashtag Challenge

NEW YORK, Nov. 11, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- To combat sex slavery, Omerge Alliances launches the #fallintobeauty hashtag campaign intended to generate and utilize positive female body images to drive self-worth and prevent further victimization.  Between November 11-November 27, 2016, a national social marketing push encourages people to make 1 post to Twitter or Instagram (text or image) of a perceived, flawed beauty trait using the #fallintobeauty hashtag.  For each post, $1 will be donated to the A21 human trafficking organization to help rescue and restore the lives of sex slaves. Human trafficking is the world's biggest crime profiting traffickers $99 billion annually (International Labor Organization, May 2014 Report). Of the approximate 5 million people who are sex slaves, the average victim is a 12-year old girl.  Fall Into Beauty 2016 intends to drive  awareness of this issue and of each young girl's inherent value as participants embrace their unique beauty.
