NEW YORK, Sept. 22, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Beck Street Capital, a private real estate investment firm, today announced that, with the successful execution of two new leases, its 12-story luxury office building at 30 West 21st Street in New York City is now 100% leased.  The new long-term leases include agreements with Shadow Public Relations and The Continuum Company for the entire tenth and eleventh floors, respectively.

"When we purchased 30 West 21st Street in 2007, we saw immense potential offered by this truly unique property in one of the fastest-growing commercial areas in Manhattan," said Kevin Comer, Senior Managing Director of Beck Street Capital.  "Since then, we have undergone significant renovations including restoring the building's original copper and stone façade, adding a private landscaped garden and new windows and skylights throughout.  We are pleased this property has found new life and is now home to close to a dozen fast-growing, entrepreneurial companies."

Tenants of 30 West 21st Street include such dynamic and innovative firms as Watermill Institutional Trading, Marimekko, DeSantis Breindel, Dragon Rouge, International Cosmetics & Perfumes Inc. and Extrovertic.

Nora Stats and Daniel Creighton of Tarter Stats O'Toole Realty exclusively represented Beck Street Capital for this project.  "We enjoyed being a member of such a professional team.  It is wonderful to meet a landlord that understands what tenants are looking for and need in this challenging market," Stats commented.

Comer added, "Tarter Stats O'Toole has now worked with us on several of our projects over the last decade, and has consistently demonstrated an ability to deliver top-quality tenants with profiles that match the high quality of our assets."

30 West 21st Street is located between 5th and 6th Avenues in New York City's Flatiron District.  The building features luxury amenities, including light and air on three sides, 10.5- to 13.5-foot ceilings and a landscaped private garden.  For more about 30 West 21st Street, visit
