Alan DiPietro Named Chief Revenue Officer; Zak Pines Joins as Vice President of Marketing

To support the company's continued rapid expansion plans, Alan DiPietro has been named Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), and Zak Pines joins as Vice President of Marketing.

A 27-year sales veteran and hands-on sales entrepreneur, DiPietro has a proven record in leading early-stage startup sales organizations from product launch to IPO and/or acquisition. He was a key member of the LogMeIn sales management team that pioneered an integrated e-commerce and inside sales strategy model that powered the company's IPO. Prior to joining Bedrock Data, DiPietro was the Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Infinio Systems. He's previously served as the Vice President of Worldwide Sales for vKernel (acquired by Dell/Quest Software) and in sales leadership roles for Interliant and MapInfo.

He joins Bedrock Data from Ipswitch, Inc. where he was Senior Director, Marketing. Prior to Ipswitch, Pines held marketing technology leadership roles with Avitage and LiveTechnology. Pines holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Yale University.
