Beech-Nut Pledges $750,000 in Product to Aid U.S. Storm Victims

TOWN OF AMSTERDAM, N.Y., May 5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- To aid the tiniest survivors of April's deadly tornado outbreak, Beech-Nut Nutrition Corporation and its long time charitable partner, Feed The Children, announced today a $750,000 product donation. The donation, which equates to 15 truckloads of baby and toddler food, will become part of Feed The Children's ongoing relief effort in the Southeast.

For nearly 20 years, Beech-Nut has supported the humanitarian and hunger-relief efforts of Feed the Children. This recent donation will allow Feed The Children to provide immediate and ongoing support of the storm victims.
