Behringer Appoints John R. Cadigan as Head of National Sales

DALLAS, Sept. 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Behringer announced today that John R. Cadigan has been appointed as head of national sales. In this role, Cadigan will direct the company's sales organization that offers an array of specialized and alternative investments featuring closed-end funds and 1031 exchange programs.

In a career spanning more than 25 years in the financial services industry, Cadigan has built effective sales teams for both traditional and alternative investment products. Before joining Behringer, Cadigan served as national sales manager at Arrow Investment Advisors, LLC, leading Arrow's sales efforts for a diverse platform of alternative investment products and exchange-traded funds (ETFs).

At Direxion Funds, Cadigan was managing director and national sales manager. He directed the firm's sales strategy for alternative investments and ETF programs within the retail broker-dealer channel, as well as the institutional and registered investment advisor channels. During his tenure of more than 10 years at Rydex Investments, Cadigan helped establish the firm as an early entrant in the alternative investment/mutual fund space. Through various speaking and media engagements, he also has educated financial advisors on portfolio construction strategies using alternative investments and ETFs.

Cadigan received a bachelor of arts degree with a focus on economics and political science from Saint Michael's College in Vermont. He holds the Certified Hedge Fund Professional (CHP) designation and FINRA Series 7, 24 and 63 securities licenses.
