Behringer Securities and Meritage Capital Announce Strategic Agreement
DALLAS, May 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Behringer Securities LP and Meritage Capital, LLC today announced a strategic agreement to develop, manage and distribute a series of specialized investment funds. Encompassing multiple investment strategies, the funds are intended to address the challenges presented by today's market volatility.
Founded in 2003 and based in Austin, Texas, Meritage Capital is a $1.2 billion boutique investment management firm specializing in differentiated hedge fund solutions for family offices, individuals and institutions. Through this agreement, both firms will leverage their combined expertise. Behringer Securities will lead capital-raising for the funds through its relationships with a wide network of independent financial advisors. Meritage Capital will lead the investment strategy for each fund that they manage. Both companies offer seasoned management teams with experience in navigating specialized investments through multiple economic environments and business cycles.
