Benefitalign appoints Manal Mehta as President and CEO of new global organization
ROCKVILLE, Md., June 4, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Benefitalign®, a leading cloud-based technology solution provider for health insurance exchanges and benefits administration, has appointed Manal Mehta as President and Chief Executive Officer of the company, effective immediately. In this new role, Manal will be responsible for driving sustainable growth of the business and delivering innovative solutions in a rapidly evolving marketplace.

Mr. Mehta brings 25 years of operational and P&L leadership experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare and IT industries. Mr. Mehta was most recently with GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), a leading global pharmaceutical, vaccines and consumer products company, where he served as the Strategy and Operating Officer for the global Oncology business. Mr. Mehta previously served in the Office of the CEO and Corporate Strategy at GSK where he spearheaded the delivery of strategic planning, growth and productivity initiatives. He has extensive experience in business development and M&A, and has led global product development and operations teams. Prior to GSK, Mr. Mehta held leadership roles at Covance Inc. and Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC).
