To fuel its next phase of growth, BenefitHub adds leadership firepower across voluntary benefits, finance, technology and partner channels with the additions of Daniel Owens, Sarah Oliver and Matt Craven
NEW YORK, Oct. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- BenefitHub, the leading employee perks, benefits, and voluntary products platform, today announced three senior additions to its leadership team: Daniel Owens as Chief Financial Officer, Sarah Oliver as Executive Vice President, Voluntary Products, and Matt Craven as Executive Vice President, Partnerships.
The appointments follow BenefitHub's strongest financial year in company history and come as President and CEO Jeffrey Litvack advances a set of strategic priorities designed to accelerate the company's next phase of growth. Together, Oliver, Craven and Owens will strengthen the company's voluntary products, distribution partnerships and operational capabilities as BenefitHub scales its platform and expands into new growth opportunities.
Owens and Oliver report to CEO Jeffrey Litvack and join BenefitHub's executive committee. Craven reports to Chief Partner Officer Larry Mieldezis.
Daniel Owens Named Chief Financial Officer
Owens brings more than a decade of executive finance leadership across high-growth software and technology-enabled businesses. He most recently served as CFO of Maxio, a private equity-backed B2B SaaS billing and financial operations platform.
Previously, Owens served as CFO of edtech data analytics company IO Education through a period of rapid growth and successful exit, and as Group CFO across Marlin Equity Partners' SaaS portfolio, where he supported platform investments and add-on acquisitions. He also held a leadership role with Vista Equity Partners' Vista Consulting Group, working with portfolio company management teams on value creation and operational performance.
A CPA who began his career at Ernst & Young, Owens has led capital raises, debt and equity offerings, M&A transactions and sale processes across both public and private companies.
"Dan brings a rare combination of financial discipline, operating experience and transaction expertise," said Jeffrey Litvack, CEO of BenefitHub. "As we continue to scale the business and invest in our next phase of growth, his leadership will be instrumental in building the financial foundation to support that growth."
Sarah Oliver Named EVP, Voluntary Products
Oliver takes on responsibility for BenefitHub's voluntary and group products businesses, bringing more than 20 years of experience across employee benefits, insurance, enrollment and benefits technology.
Her career includes leadership roles at Unum, Guardian, Prudential and Trustmark, where she focused on voluntary benefits, product strategy, enrollment solutions and benefits technology. She has also advised emerging technology companies navigating growth and market adoption.
Oliver has served as a board advisor to BenefitHub since 2025, providing strategic guidance on the company's voluntary benefits business. She now joins BenefitHub full-time.
"Sarah has already played an important role in shaping our voluntary benefits strategy, and we're excited to bring her leadership into the business full-time," said Litvack. "Her deep understanding of insurance, enrollment and technology—and how those pieces come together for employers and employees—will be a major asset as we expand our voluntary products platform."
Matt Craven Named EVP, Partnerships
Craven will lead BenefitHub's broker, professional employer organization (PEO) and indirect channel partnerships, bringing more than 25 years of experience building SaaS revenue, customer and partner ecosystems.
Most recently, he served as Chief Customer Officer at Swipeclock, where he built and scaled a channel partner ecosystem to more than 1,200 relationships. His experience spans partner strategy, technology integrations, customer lifecycle management and post-acquisition integration.
"Matt has built his career around turning partner ecosystems into durable, high-retention growth engines," said Larry Mieldezis, Chief Partner Officer at BenefitHub. "His experience and partner-first approach will be invaluable as we continue to deepen our relationships with brokers, PEOs and other strategic distribution partners."
The three appointments come as BenefitHub continues to expand its platform and invest in the products, technology and partnerships that support employers and their employees.
