Berliner Cohen LLP Founding Partner Retires

SAN JOSE, Calif., March 10, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Berliner Cohen LLP, San Jose based law firm, announced the departure of founding partner, Sanford (Stan) Berliner, after fifty years of practicing law. Berliner's retirement marks a new era for his namesake firm, and an opportunity to further the legacy he leaves.

Many of Stan's first clients are still with the firm. John A. Sobrato, of the prominent Silicon Valley family and development firm, Sobrato Organization, stated,

The firm's early representation of developers such as Sequoia Pacific, FMC, and Sobrato Organization helped cement their real estate practice at a time when the mostly rural region had strict limits on growth. Stan played an integral role in Santa Clara County's transformation into the thriving business center it is today.

Berliner Cohen is known for longstanding relationships with clients and lawyers alike.  More than a third of the attorneys at Berliner Cohen today have been with the firm more than 20 years.
