Best College Reviews Names the Top 50 Most Beautiful Autumn Campuses

BEXLEY, Ohio, Nov. 9, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Best College Reviews, a ranking service for American colleges and universities, has released a list of the top 50 most beautiful autumn campuses.  Information was gathered from school websites, the internet, and The Arbor Day Foundation.

The great American Poet, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow wrote a delightful poem called "Autumn." He captures the colors feelings, and personifies them perfectly.  "Thou comest, Autumn, heralded by the rain/With banners, by great gales incessant fanned."  Does not the poet speak for our love of the autumn gold, yellow, red, and orange?  He goes on, "Upon thy bridge of gold; thy royal hand/Outstretched with benedictions o'er the land."  We are all blessed by autumn's falling leaves and mosaic of colors.   Our college campuses can play a huge role in autumn blessing.  Many stand out with stunning autumn trees, verdant green quads, and classical Collegiate Gothic architecture.  In addition to these features, some campuses are blessed with rivers, forests, lakes, meadows, and awesome mountain views.  Longfellow got it right when he compared the fall to the coming of Charlemagne and the blessing of heaven.
