Beyond Algorithms, Storage Technology, Metadata and Retrieval: Why Human Curators Create All the Value in Modern Media Archiving

LOS ANGELES, May 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- LAC Group's Tyler Leshney will present "The Curation Ecosystem" at the Association of Moving Image Archivists (AMIA) Digital Asset Symposium today.

His presentation will focus on the future of information curation in an era of exponential growth in media assets and why value creation in an age of exponential growth of digital film assets and why human curators are necessary to create value.
