BGC's results will include the consolidation of those for the Company's majority-owned division, GFI Group Inc. (OTC: GFIG) ("GFI Group" or "GFI"), a leading intermediary and provider of trading technologies and support services to the global OTC and listed markets.
Commercial real estate services firms are typically seasonally strongest in the fourth calendar quarter, and this seasonality tends to be most pronounced over the last few business days of December.
