In what has become the nation's largest regional volunteer service event, Big Sunday draws more than 50,000 volunteers to participate in a number of community service events across California on May 14 and 15. Following the mantra of its founder, David Levinson, author of "Everyone Helps, Everyone Wins," Big Sunday encourages egalitarianism and offers volunteer opportunities for every passion, talent, skill and age. With a long history of making a powerful difference in helping communities foster a cleaner environment and entrepreneurial spirit, Pine-Sol will be the "Official Big Clean Sponsor," donating $45,000 and 8,000 bottles of Pine-Sol branded products to community centers and organizations across the state of California. |

This great school will be repairing planter boxes in locations all over the school and supporting an edible garden for each classroom. This wonderful new school of the Visual and Performance Arts will host an Arts Day at their new campus in downtown Los Angeles. The day will include a fun arts fair with interactive art projects and performances from the students and outside groups, too! They'll also be working to beautify the school and host a clothing and blanket collection for a local homeless shelter. |

Immaculate Conception is a 100-year-old school in the Pico-Union District, which serves some of the poorest students in Los Angeles. The school is excited to welcome volunteers to help them do some landscaping and help beautify their school. They also are looking for donations in the following categories: toiletries, school supplies, non-perishable foods and diapers. |
