Bill Finnegan joins Avison Young in Philadelphia
Highly regarded industry veteran will help grow the Center City office and continue to focus on corporate tenant representation
PHILADELPHIA, Sept. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ - David Fahey, Avison Young Principal and Managing Director of the company's Philadelphia region, announced today the strategic hiring of highly regarded industry veteran Bill Finnegan.
Effective immediately, Finnegan becomes a Principal of Avison Young with a mandate to help grow the company's Philadelphia Center City office. He will also continue to focus on his specialty of corporate tenant representation. Finnegan brings 20-plus years of commercial real estate experience to Avison Young, most recently as a Senior Vice-President with Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in Philadelphia.

Before moving to JLL, he held senior executive and director positions with Cresa, Newmark Knight Frank and Cushman & Wakefield. Prior to entering the commercial real estate industry, Finnegan worked in finance with Bristol Myers Squibb, GlaxoSmithKline and PwC.
Finnegan's many industry accolades include Broker of the Year awards from Newmark Knight Frank and Brandywine Realty Trust. In addition, he has been recognized as a CoStar Power Broker on numerous occasions.

In the community, he was previously on the board of the Huntingdon Valley Activities Association and currently volunteers as a basketball, soccer and softball travel coach.
Finnegan holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Rider University and a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from St. Joseph's University. In addition to being a licensed real estate broker, he is a certified public accountant and holds memberships in both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
