Biotech Procurement Company Moves to Office 365 with iomart

Bio-tech procurement company Amici Procurement has chosen Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider iomart (AIM: IOM) to help it move to Office 365.

Amici Procurement provides small to medium-sized companies in the bio-tech sector with a unique procurement service, helping them with all aspects of the purchasing cycle to help them obtain best value. Its IT platform hosts more than 4 million products from more than 3000 suppliers.

iomart worked with Amici Procurement to scope its existing local Hosted Exchange solution to create a roadmap to move data to the cloud. This included the creation of new mailboxes, the import of existing Whitelists and setting up of all the various distribution groups and shared mailboxes.

Amici Procurement now has a professional Office 365 solution including an enterprise email system, instant messaging platform and the full suite of Office applications including Word and Excel. Office 365 also allows the team to share calendars and collaborate on documents online.

iomart was one of the first cloud service providers to be chosen by Microsoft as a Tier 1 member of its Cloud Solution Provider Programme in Europe. This allows iomart to directly provision, manage and support as well as provide direct billing for Office 365.
