Led by Jung, one of the world's greatest windsurfers, the 8-stage adventure is one of discovery, of both the ocean's beauty and the consequences of human activity on the ocean. The team will split their time between surf sessions, beach cleanings and collecting samples from the Atlantic garbage patch, a vast area covered in plastic pollution.

A professional windsurfer, Jung's eyes have been opened to the pollution invading his "office." After a recent day's riding the waves of Bali, he fell sick for two days. "The water was dark brown with all kinds of trash in it. I decided to do something about it. It's clearly visible that we have to change our behavior to keep the planet alive."
