BIP Capital Names Todd Knudsen VP of Finance
Announced as BIP Capital's new VP of Finance, Todd Knudsen brings breadth and depth of experience to support continued growth
ATLANTA, June 20, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- BIP Capital, one of the top Venture Capital firms in the Southeast, announced today that it has appointed Todd Knudsen as its new VP of Finance. With over 19 years of accounting and finance experience, the breadth and depth of Todd's background is a welcomed addition to the BIP Capital team.

Prior to joining BIP Capital, Knudsen served as Chief Financial Officer at Chatham Capital, a private equity firm with over $435 million in assets under management. He has also held roles as the CFO and head of credit for FTRANS Corp, a VC-backed specialty finance company, as Vice President at Wachovia Bank, managing a $925 million portfolio, and at Arthur Andersen, performing audit and consulting services for both public and private companies.
Founded in 2007, BIP Capital has invested more than $160 million over the last 8 years, predominantly across four assets classes: Private Equity, Growth Venture Capital, Early-Stage Venture Capital, and Private Debt.

Mr. Knudsen received a BS in Accounting with high honors from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from Emory University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
