Birlasoft Announces the Appointment of President of Americas to Drive New Strategy & Growth
Vasan Srinivasan takes on P & L of the Americas Region
Edison, N.J., Sept. 1 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Birlasoft, the global IT services business of the 150-year-old multi-billion dollar CK Birla Group, today announces the executive appointment of Vasan Srinivasan as the President of Americas. Vasan joins Birlasoft from FIS, where as Senior Vice President, he led the creation of a corporate-wide Consulting and Services Division. At Birlasoft, Vasan is responsible for the complete P & L of the Americas region, which provides the major share of Birlasoft's revenue.

Vasan has previously worked for and with organizations such as Cap Gemini, Morgan Stanley, Citigroup, HSBC, and HP (EDS), leading a variety of small, large, and mega deals and portfolios. He has a degree in Electrical & Electronics engineering from the University Of Madras, India, and an MBA from Duke University, NC, USA.
Most recently, Birlasoft announced the acquisition of the Engineering Design Services team of Hindustan Motors & AVTEC as part of its strategic move to build scale in chosen domains and enhance capability in onsite consulting and offshore development services.
