Birlasoft(R) Acquires Engineering Design Services Team from AVTEC(R)
Enhances Birlasoft capability including high value onsite consulting and offshore development services
EDISON, N.J. and NEW DELHI, May 5 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Global IT services company Birlasoft has acquired the Engineering Design Services team of AVTEC as part of its strategic move to provide engineering services consulting and outsourcing to customers.
AVTEC, the country's largest independent manufacturer of engines and transmissions (Powertrains), is much known for supplying critical auto components to reputed global OEMs including GM, Ford, Mahindra & Mahindra, Daimler, Tata, Eaton, Caterpillar, BEML etc.
