Birthday Gift Turns Into a Full Bitcoin as Ohio Woman Becomes Quantum TCG's First Full Bitcoin Winner

Siera Osborne received three Quantum TCG packs from her father for her birthday and pulled a Gold digital reward card worth one full Bitcoin.

MIAMI, Aug. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- What began as a birthday gift from a father to his daughter turned into an unforgettable surprise when Siera Osborne of Newark, Ohio, became the first person to pull a full Bitcoin digital reward card from Quantum TCG.

Siera's father, Jason Osborne, had already become a fan of Quantum TCG, purchasing cards several times before his daughter's birthday. Although Jason said he was never much of a traditional TCG collector, he had collected sports cards and found something about Quantum TCG that stood out to him.

When Siera's birthday arrived, Jason decided to share that interest with his daughter and bought her three packs of Quantum TCG cards as a gift.

Siera knew very little about Quantum TCG when she began opening the packs. Then she discovered a Gold digital reward card.

At first, neither Siera nor Jason realized exactly what she had pulled. They thought the card might represent only a small fraction of a Bitcoin. After looking further into the card and its reward, they discovered that Siera had won one full Bitcoin, making her Quantum TCG's first full Bitcoin winner.

"My dad had been telling me about Quantum TCG for months, but I didn't really know what to expect," said Siera Osborne. "When I opened the packs and saw the Gold card, we thought maybe it was just a small piece of a Bitcoin. When we realized it was a full Bitcoin, we were in total shock. When asked whether they planned to convert the Bitcoin immediately, Siera said she and her father intend to hold onto it for now, hoping its value will continue to grow before deciding what to do with it in the future.

Siera traveled to Miami with her parents, Jason and Mindi Osborne, to meet Quantum TCG Founder Franck Boubli and the Quantum team and officially claim the Bitcoin reward. The family's celebration with Franck was captured through photos and video.
