Bisk Education Announces Executive Leadership Promotions

TAMPA, Fla., Jan. 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Nathan Bisk, Chairman and founder of Bisk Education, one of the nation's largest facilitators of online education from America's leading universities, announced a transition within its key leadership, naming current President Andrew Titen as Chief Executive Officer and Senior Vice President Michael Bisk as President. Nathan Bisk will continue his active participation in the company as Chairman supporting the executive team.

Mr. Andrew Titen joined the company in 1986. Mr. Titen has been President and Chief Operating Officer of Bisk Education since 1992. From 1986 to 1991, Mr. Titen served as Bisk Education's Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Titen is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Florida and a Chartered Global Management Accountant. Prior to joining Bisk, he spent 11 years in public accounting and industry with Price Waterhouse (now PricewaterhouseCoopers), Cherry Bekaert & Holland (now Cherry Bekaert), Hacker Johnson & Jacobsen (now Hacker Johnson & Smith) and AAA Peninsula Motor Club (now Auto Club Group). Mr. Titen received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Central Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Tulane University. He is also a University of Central Florida College of Business Administration Hall of Fame member.

Mr. Michael Bisk joined the company in 1993 and has served in several leadership positions, most recently as Senior Vice President and member of the Executive Committee. He is recognized by his peers as one of the leading experts in the online education space and has played a key role in the growth and success of Bisk Education for more than 20 years. He received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida and holds a Master Certificate in Internet Marketing from the University of San Francisco, a Master Certificate in Six Sigma and Project Management from Villanova University, and an MBA Executive Certificate from Tulane University.
