Bison Mortgage Funds Rebranded within the Trez Family of Funds
VANCOUVER, April 9, 2013 /CNW/ - Trez Capital ("Trez" or "the Company") is pleased to announce the rebranding of Bison Income Trust II C-2 to Trez Capital Yield Trust and Bison Prime Mortgage Fund to Trez Capital Prime Trust. The investment objectives for the funds remain the same: to preserve capital while delivering a consistent high interest rate from a diversified portfolio of commercial and multi-residential mortgages. Rebranding will not affect the funds' net asset values, mortgage portfolios or the management of the funds.
As of March 31, 2013, Bison Income Trust II C-2 (now Trez Capital Yield Trust) had approximately $215 million invested in mortgages and, since its inception in 2009, has delivered an average annual return of 8.8 percent on its units that have a distribution reinvestment feature. Bison Prime Mortgage Fund (now Trez Capital Prime Trust) had a mortgage portfolio of about $15.2 million, as of March 31, 2013, and has delivered an average annual return of 8 percent since inception in 2006 from its units that have a distribution reinvestment feature.1,2
