Bitdefender has promoted Mihaela Paun to Vice President Consumer Sales and Marketing and Ciprian Istrate to Vice President Consumer Solutions, to further accelerate the impressive development of the company. Mihaela Paun, who has been at Bitdefender since 2002, is a founder of the digital marketing division and the coordinator of online sales, the main distribution channel for consumer security solutions.

Ciprian Istrate, previously Global Marketing Director, has been at Bitdefender since 2003 and coordinated the company's rebranding in 2011, helping position Bitdefender's innovative technologies in the global cybersecurity industry. He will lead a team of 100 people in Product Management, Product Marketing, Customer Care, Marketing Intelligence, User Experience and Marketing Agency, and will shape the vision and the strategy of the future consumer product portfolio.
