Bizerba and FutureProof Retail are the perfect combination making shopping even more convenient by integrating Bizerba's digital retail scales and FPR's mobile self-scanning platform, creating a better experience for grocery customers and increased efficiency for grocery retailers.

At retailers, customers can now weigh and scan their products with mobile self-scanning. Bizerba is the only scale manufacturer who supports mobile checkout with fresh produce as well as click & collect in the deli department. At self-service scales in the produce department or when ordering the deli counter, shoppers scan a QR code on the customer display to add these items to their checkout list.
Shoppers can also pre-order deli items by ordering from a digital menu that they can access at home or in the store. Orders can be placed via website, in-store kiosks or with FPR's white-labeled retail apps. Using FPR's mobile checkout allows shoppers to save time by skipping checkout lines and wait time. Store staff saves time by being able to manage and process click & collect orders directly through their existing Bizerba scales. The new capabilities can be added through a simple software update on the Bizerba scales .
With the update, each of Bizerba's retail scales becomes a multipurpose access point to the FutureProof platform. Customers are able to use the scales to purchase weighted items with mobile self-scanning. Retail staff can use the scales to monitor the store and perform checkouts.
