Ortega joins Blazent after serving in strategic marketing roles at BMC and SAP, as well as several Fortune 500 companies and high-growth startups. At Blazent, Ortega will drive brand awareness of the company's data intelligence solutions, overseeing product marketing, field and corporate marketing initiatives.
Prior to his position at Blazent, Ortega served in a leadership role at BMC where he developed a new category framework for the Digital Service Management division. During his tenure at Sybase (an SAP company), Ortega's team supported the go-to-market strategy for the company's mobility platforms. With deep roots in enterprise software, Ortega has also held senior marketing positions at Sun Microsystems, Astoria Software, Xamplify Technologies and Metacode Technologies.
