Blinq & One Warm Coat® Drive Helps Local People in Need Stay Warm
Warming Communities…One Coat at a Time
SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 19, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Forty-five million Americans are currently living in poverty. For these families and individuals, a warm coat is a budget extra they simply cannot afford. Blinq partnered with One Warm Coat to collect clean, gently used warm coats to support the coat drive program.
In December 2015, Blinq turned its pods into donation stations for commuters who wanted to drop off coats for people in need. Blinq Brand Ambassadors collected 44 coats in all, and will be handing off the items to the St. Anthony Foundation, an organization that provides essential support to San Franciscans living in poverty.
