NEW YORK, June 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- During its keynote session on June 6th, BlogWorld, the world's largest new media conference and tradeshow, announced it is changing the name of its event to New Media Expo (NMX). This name better represents the entire industry and community and is inclusive of all online content creators. The official Twitter hashtag of New Media Expo is #NMX.

"When we started BlogWorld in 2006 the new media industry hadn't really formed yet. Changing the name from BlogWorld to New Media Expo was always the plan, but the timing wasn't right until now.
