The savings cards, dubbed the E-Pass, will be available Monday, August 1 for those looking to run fall fundraising programs.
According to the National School Supply Association, teachers pay an estimated $1.6 billion nationwide on their own classrooms, with approximately 85% of educators putting their money towards purchasing instructional materials. For every 500 E-Passes sold, a school will raise $5,000 and 10 teachers will receive an Education.com Pro account for one year, a value worth more than $700 additional dollars.
