Bloom Marin Hosts its First Annual Holiday Fundraiser
Community fundraiser for families in need
MARIN, Calif., Nov. 22, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Bloom, a nonprofit organization that provides complimentary wardrobes to men, women, and children who are transitioning to a life of self‐reliance, announces their first annual holiday fundraiser. Bloom is the only nonprofit in the United States to provide wardrobes for the entire family, at no fee to the client.
Bloom is calling this a "Gratitude Party" giving thanks for the support of the community. Let's "sow the seeds of giving" in our hearts, and prepare for a holiday season giving back. This is an opportunity to support the families nearby who need extra love this year. They will also have an online auction to help fundraise for these families.
- The fundraiser will be held December 2nd at Jason's Restaurant in Greenbrae from 6:00 -10:00 pm.

This year has been difficult with so many tragedies around the world. Bloom worked tirelessly to help by sending clothing to hurricane victims and to our neighbors in the north. The North Bay Fires brought an incredible outpouring of love from the neighboring communities and Bloom was proud to provide clothing and hygiene kits to the Marin shelters. Bloom is committed to assisting with the long recovery by sending clothing and hygiene kits to our neighbors in need.
Bloom clients are among the low income and working poor populations, referred by supporting social services agencies. The population served includes participants in substance abuse recovery programs, victims of spousal abuse, and those who are homeless, jobless, or suffering from economic hardship.
Bloom provides clothes to satisfy the requirements of the workplace, and strives to enhance the social and recreational needs of all clients.
