Bloomberg BNA's Lisa Fitzpatrick Named Woman Executive Of The Year In The Golden Bridge Awards Competition

ARLINGTON, Va., Aug. 30, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Bloomberg BNA today announced that Lisa Fitzpatrick, Vice President & General Manger of Tax and Accounting, was named the Gold Award recipient in the Woman Executive of the Year category for accounting, banking, finance and insurance at the 9th annual Golden Bridge Awards.  The Golden Bridge Awards program honors the world's best in organizational performance, innovations, products and services, executives and management teams from every major industry.

A 25-year veteran in the information industry, Fitzpatrick joined Bloomberg BNA in 2008, leading product management and marketing within the tax and accounting division, before being named Bloomberg BNA's first chief marketing officer in 2011. In that capacity, she centralized and improved the effectiveness of Bloomberg BNA's marketing efforts and led overall branding strategy and product positioning.  She was appointed to her current role in early 2014.

Fitzpatrick is a firm believer in leveraging diversity and inclusion as a core business strategy to foster innovative thinking and provide solutions for Bloomberg BNA's customer base.  Under her leadership, her staff of professionals has doubled in size in the past four years and sales have reached double-digit growth over the past two years.  She is actively involved in community service, volunteering as a mentor with a local nonprofit, and has led multiple food drives on behalf of her division in support of a local food bank.   As a testament to her leadership, the vast majority of her team has participated in voluntary community service activities.

Prior to joining Bloomberg BNA, Fitzpatrick held roles as Vice President of Marketing at MarketResearch.com and Marketing Director at Thompson Publishing Group, where she launched several regulatory compliance products in the financial and healthcare areas.
