Blue Bunny® Continues Make-A-Wish® Partnership With $250,000 Donation This Fall
Blue Bunny to Sponsor Three "Walk For Wishes" Events, Donate a Portion of Sales During the Months of September and October
LE MARS, Iowa, Sept. 11, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Blue Bunny continues its alliance with Make-A-Wish this fall with a $250,000 donation, including a "Walk For Wishes" sponsorship and a retail initiative. As part of the commitment, Blue Bunny will sponsor three "Walk For Wishes" events, which celebrate the thousands of wishes that have already been granted while raising funds for future wishes. During the months of September and October, Blue Bunny will also donate a portion of sales from select retailers to Make-A-Wish.

As part of its "Walk for Wishes" sponsorship, Blue Bunny will sponsor three local events during the months of September and October, including: Walk For Wishes – West Michigan on September 12; Council Bluffs, Iowa on September 20; and Harrisburg, Pa. on October 18. More than 1,500 attendees are expected to collectively participate in the three events, including wish families, volunteers, donors and friends.
As part of its retail initiative, Blue Bunny will team up with four retailers during the months of September and October to donate $1 to Make-A-Wish for every package of Blue Bunny Mini Swirls or Ice Cream Sandwiches sold. Retail partners include Fareway, Giant Eagle, HyVee and Weis.
