Bluerock Expands Distribution Team; Adds Tim Hughes, Jack Wood as Co-Heads of Distribution; Carla Martin as Managing Director, Relationship Management
NEW YORK, June 13, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Investment management firm Bluerock Real Estate, LLC announced today that it has tapped Tim Hughes and Jack Wood as Co-Heads of Distribution to lead the Company's sales effort for its managing broker-dealer, Bluerock Capital Markets (BCM). Carla Martin has joined as a Managing Director in the company's Relationship Management group. The hires come as the company undertakes a significant expansion of its distribution initiative.
Tim Hughes and Jack Wood will be responsible for accelerating sales growth and product offerings across the company's expanding line of private and public investment products, and will also be tasked with broadening and channelizing Bluerock's distribution teams to support a growing base of independent broker-dealers and Registered Investment Advisors. Carla Martin, as a Managing Director in Bluerock's National Accounts team, will share responsibility for growing the company's broker-dealer partnership network nationwide and for raising awareness of the full scope of Bluerock's offerings among leading institutions.
