PETALUMA, Calif., Jan. 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Bob Tomasi has been named president of AVRS, Inc., as announced by AVRS CEO and founder Robert Rieger. Tomasi previously held the position of executive vice president.
Tomasi has more than 30 years of experience with technology startups, as well as public companies. He served on the executive team of NetCom Communications, Inc., founded by Rieger, which grew rapidly to become a public company traded on the NASDAQ stock market. Tomasi also served in several senior operational executive positions with companies such as British Telecom, MCI Communications and McDonnell Douglas, where he successfully scaled operations to support subscriber bases in more than 70 countries on five continents.
