Boca Grove Golf and Tennis Club's Executive Chef Awarded 2016 Southeast American Culinary Federation Professional Chef Award

This award recognizes an ACF chef who best exemplifies the highest standard of professionalism in today's kitchen. Chef Laudia was awarded the title of 2014 Professional Chef of the Year from the ACF Palm Beach Chapter catapulting him to regional, and now the national level. Through a strenuous application process, he was named one of four finalists for the Southeast Region title that is chosen by previous regional winners, his peers. Chef Laudia will now join the three other regional winners from across the country vying for the National title of 2016 ACF Professional Chef of the Year Award at the National Convention in Phoenix in July. 

Chef Laudia is President of the ACF Palm Beach Chapter, a member of the Choice Academy Advisory Board for West Boca Community High School and a board member for the Florida Career and Technical Education Association. Laudia was an integral part of the planning and construction phase of West Boca Community High School's Culinary Academy Program. He played a key role in helping it attain National Academy Model status and is a mentor to the students and teachers in the Culinary Arts Academy. Chef Laudia is also involved in community service and outreach with the Quantum House at St. Mary's Hospital, Children's Home Society and The Lord's Place.

In his career tenure Chef Laudia has been awarded more than 20 culinary competition medals from the ACF, as well as Chef of the Year Award for 2001 and 2012 for the Palm Beach ACF Chapter. Laudia has also been awarded the 2003 ACF Presidential Medallion, 2007 Palm Beach County School District Business Partner of the Year and 2009 Prostart Industry Participant of the Year.
