BOCA RATON, Fla., Dec. 17, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Boca Grove, a premier golf and tennis club in Boca Raton, Fla., will be one of eight facilities in Palm Beach County to host the 2014 ITF Seniors World Championships. Boca Grove will host the men's 35 age group Team Championships April 21 through April 27.

The ITF Seniors World Championships includes individual and team championship divisions for men and women. The Team Championships will take place April 21 through April 27 with the Individual Championships taking place April 28 through May 4. The event will attract more than 1,500 athletes and over 500 international visitors from 38 different countries.

Home to an active and proud tennis tradition, Boca Grove's tennis facility features 12 Har-Tru clay courts and a red-clay stadium court. Boca Grove's tennis courts have hosted numerous tennis professionals, including Olympic Gold Medalist Andy Murray along with famed coach Ivan Lendl, former world no. 1 professional tennis player and eight-time Grand Slam winner.
The other facilities hosting the event are BallenIsles Country Club, serving as the host site in North County, Mirasol Country Club, PGA National Resort, Palm Beach Gardens Tennis Center, Polo Club of Boca Raton, serving as host site in South County, Boca West Country Club and Woodfield Country Club. This is only the third time this event has been hosted in the United States in the past 15 years; the other American cities to host the ITF Seniors World Championships were San Diego in 2012 and Fort Lauderdale in 2002.
