BondLend Expands Team With Fixed Income Hires

NEW YORK, March 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- BondLend, the fixed income securities finance trading and post-trade platform, has hired Gary Ross and Jeff Ryan to help support the platform's continued growth.

Gary Ross joins BondLend as a fixed income business analyst. Ross most recently worked in the fixed income markets at Deutsche Bank, and before that worked in prime services at Barclays and Lehman Brothers.

Jeff Ryan joins BondLend as a fixed income business analyst. Ryan previously was a consultant in the tri-party repo and collateral management groups at J.P. Morgan and Barclays. Prior to that, he held sales and operations roles at Barclays and Lehman Brothers.

Ross and Ryan report to Tim Keenan, product owner of BondLend.

BondLend has experienced significant growth in recent years, with fixed income trading volumes up by 46% year over year from 2013 to 2014. The increase was across both corporate and sovereign bond trading.

Fixed income trading now accounts for 15% of the activity on the EquiLend and BondLend platforms, an increase of 5% since January 2014. Approximately 28,000 trades are communicated daily via EquiLend and BondLend.
