Bonne Finken + The Collective to Open 25th Anniversary Concert Featuring Joan Jett & the Blackhearts with Special Guest Eddie Money
OMAHA, Neb., June 15, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Bonne Finken + The Collective will experience the chance of a lifetime opening the 25th anniversary of Bank of the West Celebrates America, an outdoor concert featuring recent Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Joan Jett & the Blackhearts with special guest Eddie Money. The concert, which is one of the largest free outdoor concerts in the country, is June 26 in Omaha's Memorial Park.

This is the fifth year of the Bank of the West Celebrates America Opening Band Contest. Bonne Finken +The Collective won by receiving the most votes in the contest held on CelebratesAmerica.com. Bands from across America entered the contest, and a panel of judges, which included representatives from Creative Artists Agency, Warner Music Group, Romeo Entertainment Group and Bank of the West, narrowed the band entries to five finalists. The public was invited to vote for their favorite finalist on CelebratesAmerica.com June 8 through June 14, 2015.
Bank of the West Celebrates America has been rocking Omaha for 25 years. The concert and fireworks finale kicks off the city's Fourth of July festivities and attracts more than 60,000 people annually.
