Borouge International announces new Responsible Care® and ISO certifications in Canada

CALGARY, AB, Oct. 6, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Borouge International (NOVA Chemicals)¹, today announced that it has achieved its RC14001®:2023 and ISO 14001:2015 certifications for its Canadian manufacturing sites, research centres, and administration functions. These milestones confirm that Borouge International's Canadian environmental, health, safety, and security management system aligns with internationally recognized standards, incorporating ISO 14001 and Responsible Care (RC)® principles, and demonstrating the company's commitment to responsible operations across its footprint.

This achievement builds on the success of Borouge International's Geismar facility, which was first certified in 2020 and has since been recertified twice, serving as a model for broader site implementation.
