Boston Barber Enlists Harvard Law to Launch BarberTime Media Network
BOSTON, May 17, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Entrepreneur, celebrated Hair Artist and Barber, 44-year-old Euan Davis from Boston is officially launching his new BarberTime Media Network.
The advertising, entertainment and media network will make its debut on Sunday, May 21 at 5 pm with a celebration unveiling at The Hair Games: Unity, at the Charlotte Convention Center, 501 South College Street, Charlotte, North Carolina. The event, which began in 2012, is sponsored by K&I Enterprise, LLC and is organized to showcase the best talent in professional cosmetology, fashion, and entrepreneurship, locally and across the nation. The Hair Games: Unity is the brainchild of India Rochelle Rice and is the only show of its kind featuring hair competitions and the latest in makeup and fashion.
Euan's goal is to introduce a new groundbreaking social media tool "that raises the bar" in the barbering and hair salon industries nationwide. After spending many years in the hair industry with the best barbers and stylists, he vowed to design an in-store social media communication tool to encourage his fellow barbers to also "up their game." This meant that the talented young barber who never finished school, and who started cutting hair to make ends meet, had to find help from the best and the brightest in Boston. So, he enlisted Harvard Law School to help him hone his media concept, develop a business plan and polish his financials.
"I found the Harvard Law team passionate about their work and committed to helping us succeed. It is because of their efforts that we were able to expand the BarberTime Media Network to include twelve locations including Dapper & Company of Atlanta, Georgia and Boston's Finest Barber Lounge, which is actually located in Concord, North Carolina. Also, we were honored to have been featured on the back cover of the prestigious and widely read Harvard Law Bulletin, which was sent out to all graduates including former President Barack Obama," Mr. Davis says.
In recent months, the BarberTime Media Network has attracted many followers. BarberTime has received hundreds of likes, shares, and comments which have resulted in many requests for Euan to demonstrate his BarberTime Media Network Monitor system. The BarberTime Media Network is for stylists and barbers who want to barber at a new level.
Euan's story is also one of inspiration and perseverance; as a young black kid who grew up in one of the toughest neighborhoods in Boston, he was not sure where his life would end up. He was forced to leave school. Barbering was his ticket out.
"If you told that kid back then, he would one day be a barber who would invent a new way for businesses to communicate ideas, sell products, and interconnect news and information, I would never have believed you, but yet here we are," he says with a small shy smile.
