Boston Celtics and Old Mutual Asset Management Treat Kids from the First Tee Program to Golf Clinic with 2008 Masters Champion Trevor Immelman

BOSTON, Aug. 28, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Boston Celtics Legend Dana Barros and Old Mutual Asset Management CEO, Peter Bain, and Linda Gibson, Head of Global Distribution,  joined 2008 Masters Champion, Trevor Immelman, in hosting a golf clinic at the Black Rock Country Club in Hingham, Massachusetts for youths involved in the First Tee Program of Massachusetts.   

"This morning was both fun and educational," Dana Barros said. "Anytime you can combine sports activities with valuable life lessons, the message is that much more impactful.  It was also cool to watch a professional golfer show us all some of the finer points of the game."

The First Tee program is an international youth development organization that introduces the game of golf and its inherent values to young people. Through after school and in school programs, First Tee helps shape the lives of young people from all walks of life by reinforcing values such as integrity, respect and perseverance through the game of golf.  The program emphasizes the importance of leadership skills and provides Old Mutual with the opportunity to continue its commitment to youth and building future leaders of tomorrow.
