Boulder County restaurant inspection scores now available on Yelp

BOULDER COUNTY, Colo., June 18, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Health inspection scores for restaurants in Boulder County are now available for diners at Yelp.com thanks to a collaboration between the popular review site, Boulder County Public Health, and Decade Software Company.

"Many Boulder County residents turn to Yelp to find out more about the vast number of dining options in the county," said Lane Drager, Boulder County Public Health Consumer Protection Program Coordinator. "This is a great opportunity to provide residents with easier access to valuable health information that will prevent illness."

Boulder County utilizes Decade Software's EnvisionConnect environmental health software to inspect the County's approximately 1,652 facilities for safe food practices. Each business' page will display a letter grade of its latest inspection score, as well as specific cited violations and previous inspection results. Grading is based on the following scale, consistent with Boulder County Public Health's standard Excellent, Good, Fair, Marginal, and Unacceptable ratings:

• A (0-19 points)
• B (20-39 points)
• C (40-69 points)
• D (70-99 points)
• F (100 points or above)
