Bound Expands Routes to Offer Premium Transportation between Boston and New York City

HARTFORD, Conn., Dec. 4, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Regional city-to-city transportation start-up, Bound, announced today that it will be expanding its services into a new market to meet the need for service between Boston and New York.

Trains, buses and planes are causing stress and unpredictable commuting for travelers that is taking a toll on the entire experience. Just recently, a train with holiday commuters traveling to Boston from New York City was recently delayed, resulting in passengers arriving almost seven hours after their scheduled arrival.

With the goal of transforming the way people perceive and pursue city to city transportation, the need for transportation between Boston and New York naturally aligned with the company's aim of eliminating the stress of city-to-city transportation in the Northeast.

"When evaluating potential markets for route expansion, we noticed the biggest need is connecting Boston with New York City with an efficient and economical form of transportation," said Bound founder and CEO Hamlet Aguilar. This will be Bound's first expansion into a new market since launching its efficient transportation service in October. The company has seen tremendous demand from travelers preferring to bypass the stress of driving and city parking.

Bound's personalized service will be accommodating the new market just in time to meet the demand for holiday travel in December. Travelers can reserve one of three seats in a Tesla Model S or one of four seats in a Tesla Model X starting at $79 per seat.
