Bourque Logistics Introduces YardMaster® Truck 2.0

THE WOODLANDS, Texas, Aug. 16, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Bourque Logistics (BL), the leader in logistics software for industrial shippers, introduces the latest version of YardMaster® Truck, a one-stop software solution that addresses all tasks for weighing, inspection, documentation, and shipping operations for bulk and liquid products by truck, as well as the same for inbound loaded trucks.

YardMaster® Truck 2.0 supports truck inspection management, scale integration for automated weight capture and scale ticket printing.  The module can also manage the loading of liquid products and provides complex volume correction calculations based on product temperature and gravity or density. Tank and product associations can be made and validation checks can be performed at the time of loading/off-loading.

YardMaster® Truck 2.0 provides functionality which allows shippers to generate a bill of lading and customs documentation from an order, pattern or manually. At time of arrival, the software module enables check-in processing for driver and carrier credentials if required and the bill of lading destination can be modified if needed.

Our partnership with Industrial Networks' weigh scale, signature pad, and tablet field devices will allow automated data capture for a more efficient shipping process. Using YardMaster® Truck, the user can print the bill of lading for the driver and auto email a PDF copy of the BOL to partners and customers. This application will soon be enhanced to provide a web interface for client and carrier scheduling.

The software module is extremely functional, with features such as seal capture, operator and/or driver signature capture and check out processing using signature pads.  

The application integrates with quality systems for product analysis and also integrates smoothly with client order and accounting systems for shipment confirmation.
