BOVIET SOLAR BEGINS PRODUCTION AT NEW NORTH CAROLINA PV MODULE FACILITY

SAN JOSÉ, Calif., May 7, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Boviet Solar Technology Co. Ltd. ("the Company" or "Boviet Solar"), a leading global solar energy technology company specializing in monocrystalline PV cells and its premium Gamma Series™ Monofacial and Vega Series™ Bifacial PV modules, proudly announces a major manufacturing milestone: the successful production of the first PV modules ready for shipment at its new U.S. facility located in Greenville, Pitt County, North Carolina.

After the grand opening ceremony, this achievement marks the beginning of Boviet Solar's manufacturing operations in the United States and underscores the company's commitment to expanding its global footprint, strengthening its North American supply chain, and supporting the domestic clean energy economy.

The Greenville facility produces high-performance PV modules based on advanced solar cell technology, supporting residential, commercial, industrial, and utility-scale solar projects across North America. At full operation, the facility is expected to have an annual production capacity of 2 gigawatts (GW) of PV modules. A second phase is already underway to construct a state-of-the-art PV cell manufacturing plant with an additional 2 GW capacity.
