CHICAGO, Dec. 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- BOX Options Exchange LLC, an innovator in market structure and client services, is pleased to announce the additions of Sean Flynn and John F. Sandner to the Exchange Board of Directors.
Mr. Flynn is Co-Head of Options Trading at Two Sigma Securities LLC, and previously was Vice President and Head of Trading at Timber Hill LLC. He has previously served on various industry boards and committees, including the International Securities Exchange and the Miami Options Exchange. Mr. Flynn will serve as a Participant Representative Director on the BOX Exchange Board.
John F. Sandner, commonly known as Jack Sandner, is a former longtime Chairman of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, now the CME Group. Under the leadership of Mr. Sandner, the CME developed numerous products including Stock index and Eurodollar futures and options, two of the most actively traded derivative products in the world, and introduced GLOBEX, the 24/7 global electronic trading system. Mr. Sandner is Chairman of the Cancer Institute at Rush University Medical Center and serves on the Boards of the University of Notre Dame, Rush University Medical Center, Museum of Science and Industry, Shedd Aquarium, the National Futures Association, Ryan Specialty Group, Virtu Financial LLC, and the Civic Committee of the Commercial Club of Chicago.
